About Aurora`s Handmade Soap: I have started a journey into creating my own bath and body products in 2021 and gradually became an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding experiment on so many planes: this creative process can be both therapeutic and satisfying. One of the primary motivations it was the desire to take control over what goes into my skin-related products, especially for a sensitive and dry skin like mine. With growing awareness about the harmful chemicals and synthetic ingredients found in many commercial skincare items, I have started to do research regarding the ingredients and additives that all goes into the cold-process soap, body lotions, deodorants, and so on. It took a lot of research, learning, practicing, questioning, determination, and mistakes, of course. Another compelling reason to dive into the world of bath and body products is the joy of creativity and personalization. Crafting my own items gives me the freedom to experiment with different scents, colours, and textures, tailoring each product to my preferences and needs. Whether it's a Lavender-scented solid body butter to hydrate my skin or a Spa salt soap for an invigorating day, the possibilities are endless. Lastly, making my own bath and body products raised up a sense of community and connection. Sharing my handmade creations with friends and family gave me the motivation to transform my passion for natural into a small business, based in Suffolk, UK. Overall, I fell in love with all that means handmade products who stand out for their unique, high-quality ingredients and the personal touch that comes with every item.
